Plan your Hughes installation.
Attached homes and apartments both need consideration
In Hughes ACT's 2021 profile, 73.5% of occupied dwellings were separate houses, 13.2% were in the attached-dwelling category and 13.2% were flats or apartments. If your property is managed, include the instructions you have received. Do not infer the internal wall from the exterior style.
Prepare a second-room request separately
The Census recorded 44.7% of dwellings with four or more bedrooms. If a bedroom is also being fitted out, show the bed position and equipment storage for that room. The appropriate viewing height may differ from the lounge even with an identical screen.
Sources and local planning notes
Census figures describe occupied private dwellings, excluding visitor-only and other non-classifiable households, within the ABS 2021 suburb boundary. They are a historical snapshot, not a survey of your property. Installation suggestions are our application of that context; wall construction, permissions and cable routes need individual assessment.
