Start with the antenna system you already have.
A roof antenna is the reception source for the home. One correctly planned antenna can supply multiple indoor TV points through coaxial cabling and suitable distribution equipment; each television does not need its own roof antenna.
For a new house build, the antenna position, intended TV points and cable routes can be discussed before the home is finished. For an existing home, we can assess the installed antenna, cabling, splitters and reception before confirming whether a repair, extension or new system is suitable.
Every additional split reduces signal level, so the number of points, cable lengths and measured reception matter. An amplifier is not automatically the answer and should only be used when the system requires it.
One antenna, several rooms
A single antenna can serve multiple TV points.
The roof antenna receives the broadcast signal once. Coaxial cabling and suitable distribution equipment then carry that signal to the planned outlets around the home.
More points do not mean more roof antennas. They do mean more signal loss through the distribution system. The antenna, cable runs, connections and splitters need to be planned and measured together; amplification is considered only where the system needs it.
