JB Hi-Fi mounting inclusions

The advertised base includes tuning, connection of up to three existing streaming services and reconnection of up to five plug-and-play components, cable tidying and a short tutorial. Bracket supply and electrical work are excluded. Concealment is a separate add-on priced separately. New streaming-account setup is separate from connecting existing accounts.

When you want mounting and streaming help

At 65 inches our Basic plus setup totals A$258, A$41 below the advertised A$299 bundle. At 50 inches our A$228 total is A$29 above A$199. At 85 inches our Basic alone is A$329, A$30 above A$299. If you already have streaming configured, our Basic may be all you need; if you want help, include that cost before comparing.

When you want the cables hidden

Our Standard is below the base-plus-concealment calculation in every band shown. With our setup add-on, the result reverses at 55–64 and 66–89 inches. For a 75-inch TV, our Standard plus setup is A$448 against a calculated retailer starting total of A$398. These do not include bracket supply and are not identical configuration packages.

A surface conduit finish and an in-wall finish differ. Our Standard is suitable in-wall hiding; it does not automatically cover every solid-wall route, new antenna point or electrical alteration.

Check the booking and extra charges

JB Hi-Fi’s page offers booking through its store, phone or chat routes. If you are buying a TV there, keep the product order, installation and any separate delivery charge clear in the quote. A TV Setup & Connect cabinet service is different from TV Wall Mount Install; the lower cabinet-setup price is not a wall-mounting rate.

Its terms flag delivery, installation above 1.5 metres, additional travel beyond 30 kilometres from the nearest store or stock pickup location, parts, parking and extra labour. Confirm the bracket, hiding method and full amount for your address before booking.

What Basic and Standard include

Basic includes position and viewing-height planning, levelling and mounting, available free-to-air channel tuning through an existing working antenna connection, and tidying accessible cables with Velcro where practical. Neatly arranging wires behind the TV or around equipment is different from concealing them inside the wall.

Standard includes Basic plus suitable in-wall cable hiding. Bracket supply, soundbar installation, antenna work and fixed electrical work are separately quoted. Fixed electrical work is carried out by an appropriately qualified electrician.

• Use the exact TV size and model: a 65-inch TV can fall into a different competitor tier from a 64-inch TV.
