Terms of Service

The terms for using our website, services and products.

Welcome to TV Mount Australia. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for using TV Mount Australia’s website and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using our services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our services.

2. Services Offered

TV Mount Australia provides professional TV mounting services, including wall mounting, cable management, and the supply of mounting brackets. Our services are available in the ACT and NSW regions.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are inclusive of GST. TV Mount Australia remains your service provider. All invoices, deposits, payments and receipts are handled through our billing system, hosted under our parent business, Souza Hub, at billing.souzahub.network.

Payment at a glance

  • Standard jobs: Payment is due on completion.
  • Business and commercial jobs: Payment is due on completion. An extension of up to seven calendar days after completion may be arranged in advance.
  • Deposits: Depending on the work, deposits range from $20 up to 50% of the quote. The required amount is stated in your quote.
  • Deposits and later payments: Pay by credit or debit card through our billing system.
  • Payment on the spot: Pay by credit or debit card through our billing system, cash or PayID.

We do not provide BSB and bank account details for direct bank transfers. PayID is available for payment on the spot.

4. Payment Terms

Standard jobs: payment on completion

Payment for standard jobs is due when the work is completed. We issue your invoice through our billing system on completion, with payment due that same day. If a deposit has been paid, it is credited towards the quoted price and the remaining balance is due on completion.

Business and commercial jobs

Payment on completion is our standard for business and commercial jobs too. We appreciate prompt payment, which helps us keep installations and any partner coordination running smoothly.

Where a different arrangement is needed, particularly for subcontracting work, we may agree in advance to extend the due date by up to seven calendar days after completion. Extended terms are an exception and are not automatic for business customers. Any agreed due date will be shown on your invoice; otherwise, payment remains due on completion. If a deposit has been paid, the remaining balance is due on the applicable invoice date.

Paying by credit card through our billing system lets you settle the job on completion while managing repayment under your card provider's terms. Any credit arrangement is with your card provider. Payments made after the appointment must be made by credit or debit card through our billing system.

Special orders and coordinated work

We may require a deposit when we need to purchase special-order equipment, such as a mounting bracket. A deposit is required for jobs involving coordination with a third party. Depending on the work, the deposit ranges from $20 up to 50% of the quote. Your quote will state whether a deposit is required and its amount before you agree to proceed. Deposits must be paid by credit or debit card through our billing system and are credited towards the job's quoted price.

How to pay

Deposits and payments made after the appointment require a credit or debit card through our billing system. For payment on the spot, you may use a credit or debit card through the billing system, cash or PayID. All service invoices and payment receipts are issued through our billing system, including for cash and PayID payments.

Questions about an invoice

If you have a question about your invoice, deposit or payment due date, please contact TV Mount Australia so we can discuss it with you.

These payment terms do not exclude any rights or remedies you have under Australian Consumer Law.

Recurring services and automatic billing

The following automatic-billing terms apply only to recurring services or subscriptions, rather than ordinary one-off installation jobs.

Auto billing is the default payment method for recurring services or subscription-based models at TV Mount Australia. This section outlines the terms and conditions associated with automatic billing:

  • Default Enrollment: By using our recurring services or subscription-based models, you are automatically enrolled in auto billing, which authorizes TV Mount Australia to charge the service fee to the credit card saved in your account on the due date each billing cycle.
  • Notification of Charges: We will send an invoice to your registered email address 7 days before your credit card is charged, detailing the amount to be deducted.
  • Updating Billing Information: You are responsible for keeping your billing information up to date. Please update your billing details promptly to avoid service disruption if your saved credit card expires or is replaced.
  • Opt-Out Option: If you prefer not to participate in auto billing, you may opt out by contacting us via email or phone. Opting out of auto billing requires you to make future payments manually by credit or debit card through our billing system.
  • Cancellation of Services: You may cancel your service or change your billing preferences at any time. Please note, opting out of auto billing does not waive your obligation to settle any outstanding charges.
  • Failed Transactions: Should a transaction fail, you will be notified and asked to provide updated payment information. Continued failure to make payments may result in suspension of the service until the outstanding balance is cleared.

5. Warranty and Limitation of Liability

  • Services: All our installations are guaranteed for a period of 3 months. Any defects in workmanship will be rectified free of charge within this period.
  • Products: Our products, including mounting brackets, are covered by a 12-month warranty.
  • Any defects in workmanship will be rectified free of charge within the warranty period.
  • Our warranty and liability do not include any change of mind from the client.
  • Our liability for damages, regardless of the form of action, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the services rendered.
  • If the client assists with the installation and causes damage, our liability does not cover damages caused by the client.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made less than 1 business day before the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee.
  • To cancel or reschedule a service, please contact us as soon as possible.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the installation site.
  • Clients must ensure that the installation area is safe and accessible for our technicians.
  • Clients should not interfere with the installation process unless specifically asked to assist by our technicians. Any damage caused by client interference is not covered by our liability.

8. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our privacy policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information. For more details, please refer to our full privacy policy on our website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
